Dark Forest

This lino print is of the Milky Way and is inspired by the Dark Forest theory, which is that we are not the only civilisation in the universe but the unknown fear of others keeps us silent; much like walking through a forest at night and not knowing what’s out there, hearing a twig snap, or seeing something through the trees..
Handprinted on Japanese rice paper with Cranfield caligo traditional relief ink and designed to fit into an A2 mount.
